I don't often have the occasion to call on the capability of my Dynamic 601 self-loader to be able to pick up at a 90 degree angle (not a lot of parallel parking here). Had a customer make a turn a little to wide last week and ended up with one wheel over a curbing and that side of the van resting on the frame rail. Not a lot of options here, the other one being winching it to the rear in the direction it came from, but that ran the risk of damaging the undercarriage.
I opted to simply use the wheel-left instead of the winch, as there was sufficient clearance to do a hook-up from about the 90 degree position. Worked like a charm.
