I'm never ceased to be amazed at how many people are willing to pay exorbitant prices to have their vehicle towed. Is it because their default mindset is that towing is outrageously expensive, so no reason to shop around? I don't know. I DO know that our rates are extremely competitive and yet I lose business to companies charging more, sometimes significantly more.

Case in point. Towed a lady yesterday from Venice to Port Charlotte. When she asked for a price quote and I provided one, she jumped right on it; she had obviously done due diligence. Come to find out she had been quoted a price from another company that was a full 1/3 higher - nearly $100 more - than what I charged.

Lesson to vehicle owners: Shop around, BUT choose a reputable company and not necessarily the low-baller.
