We don't heavily advertise junk car removal, but we do take them to the recycler for you; Trademark Metals on Hwy 17 is our recycler of choice. We don't actually buy them; what we do is charge you the standard tow rate, plus a $25 surcharge, from your location to Trademark Metals in Punta Gorda. This will put more money in your pocket rather than being paid a smaller flat rate. We tow your junk car, with title, to the recycler and after we are paid there, we take out the towing fee and return the remainder to you! If you would prefer to be paid up front, we can accommodate you, but we will have to make estimates on what the vehicle will weigh at the scales. This can result in you getting less money, because we have to make allowances for the vehicle coming in under the weight shown on your title. You are also welcome to follow us to the recycler if you would like.

Here are the rules:

1. MUST have a valid title. This is non-negotiable; we aren't even allowed on the scale without having a legal title in hand.

2. Nothing heavier than passenger cars/SUVs and 1/2 ton trucks.

3. Must have two good tires/wheels either on front or back.

4. No all-wheel drive, although some all-wheel and 4-wheel can be towed; we just have to ascertain that two wheels will free-wheel during towing on the wheel-lift. We can check your vehicle at no charge.

5. Must be "Complete" vehicle. Missing parts can result in a payment deduction at the scale. It's okay if you are missing a bumper, fender, body panel, etc. The major concern is the catalytic converter. Vehicles with missing catalytic converters are heavily penalized.
